See Sip Taste Hear is my running love letter to food, drink, place, and the beautiful chaos of being alive with an appetite.
I cook, I taste, I travel, I get lost in markets, and I write it all down the same way I tell stories at the table — with a little sass, a little cheek, and a whole lot of sensory obsession. Expect recipes that don’t take themselves too seriously, restaurant reviews with actual honesty, and travel notes soaked in sunshine, spice, and questionable decisions.
Very funny, indeed. You know last year I've visited Uruguay. We will hear about it soon, because their wines are very good and cheap, and they have a marvellous terroir, with river and sea climates (if you find Pisano, any of their wines, try it). And I've bought in a flea market there one litre of milk, the old glass bottle. And I use it as a decanter and it's just perfect, like your carafe idea.
Funny thing...a buddy of mine almost quaffed it all, almost in one night, when we had a spread of some very good wines. We poured it it in pitcher thinking we may reduce some for a sauce. Well, that didn't happen, because next thing we know the pitcher is almost empty. At least he wasn't chugging the good stuff. ;)
